SASE and IRC question

Unread post by arkarian »

I live in Spain and in my town don't sell IRCs or US stamps. I only send SAEs, do you know if celebrities will answer me? I'm really worried about that...

Hi arkarian {up}

Your chance of a positive response increases greatly if you do include the return postage either as an IRC or in that country's stamps.

If you really can't get hold of any IRC's you could always buy stamps on the internet. For example if you request autographs mainly from the UAS, you can buy US postage online at: http://shop.usps.com/webapp/wcs/stores/ ... ogId=10152

I hope this helps!

It's a pain in the butt to get IRC's too, for people like me who're always busy and when they're not they're too tired to go to the post office. It would be nice if you could buy IRC's online, but I haven't seen where you can do that yet. I've been sending SAE's a lot to people who're out of the US (mostly to Canada); we'll see if I have a problem.

It is more convenient to send IRC’s and it increases your chance of getting something back, but some Celebes do respond knowing the different postage. {thumb2}
