Hi, I was planning on sending a picture that I made:
to be signed by Keira Knightley. From what people say, they sometimes get personalized ones, and sometimes receive standard headshot photos. I really really want this picture signed, and people have said they received their original photo even when it didn't get signed. I do understand that there is a chance I might never see this drawing again, but I think I'm willing to risk it. I just want to know what anyone else thinks. Suggestions to increase success, and things of that nature.

Hey if you really like the picture then I would suggest you not to risk it as there might be dissapointment if it isn't return back.

I agree with Andy 316.

What I would do is either produce a hi-res scan of the drawing and 'laser print' a copy out onto good quality white laser paper, or scan it and print on glossy or matt photopaper with a good inkjet printer.

Failing that, you can always scan (at a push take a digital photo) of the drawing and get a proper photo print made of it at a lab or in one of those in-store machines?

Then, if you get a success back with your copy, you can always wait a while and resend the original to try your luck and get that signed too If it doesn't come back the second time, you really haven't lost anything!

Hey, thanks guys. This is a tough decision. I think I might just send the original though. It would be awesome to get it signed, and if I never got it back I would be pissed, but I could always draw another one. I'm still thinking about it though.
