SASE/SAE question

Alright, so I wrote to basically everyone I wanted to a while ago without an SAE or an SASE. And the ones I didn't get back from, I'm now sending an SASE to.

My question is, the only size envelopes I have are 9x12. So do I send 2 9x12 envelopes; one addressed to the celebrity with my letter and the SASE inside?
Jebus, I'm so confused lol.
And on the SASE I just write my address and their return address and put the postage on the envelope yeah?
Do you think it'd be fine if I just sent them the stamps and the letter together? Just in case they don't use my SAE and stamps they might send them back?
And how much does it cost to send a 9x12 envelope??
Sorry for all the questions, I"m just new to the whole SAE/SASE thing.

Well if I'm not sending and photo I usually just fold up a 9x12 envelope and put inside a small white one, that way I can save on postage (if you do it that ways its .58 cents). I usually put my address of the SASE and no return address, and I put the stamps on the envelope but I dont think that really matters. Its .80 cents or .97 cents to send a 9x12 depending on weight.
