Please help me send fanmail to someone in a different countr

Hello! Thank you for any replies in advance.
I would really like to send fan mail and a personal letter to Evanna Lynch (Harry Potter/she plays Luna Lovegood). I might also later be interested in sending a letter to Bonnie Wright and Emma Watson.
First I'd like to know HOW I send it to her? I'm in the US and her address is in the UK I believe.
Second I'd like to know what to do to help get a reply of some sort. I am not doing this just as a collecting thing but as an actual personal thing and really like the actress. I'm not sure what to include.. should I just include a $5 bill and hope that covers expenses?
I'm a bit worried- do you think she might be too famous/busy to send a reply or read my letter at the least?

Hey there!!
When you are writing to an actor or actress in a different country, usually the best way to go is buying International Reply Coupons (IRCs)at your local Postal Office. I would sent 2 to them each. What you do is....Write you letter, tell them what you like about their work and why, tell them about yourself and politely ask for an autographed picture or ask them to sign whatever you have sent. Take your letter, put it in a large envelope, on ANOTHER envelope write YOUR address on it and paperclip the IRCS or money to it and put the envelope in. If you are sending them a picture to sign, include that as well.
I hope this helps you.

Thanks
the post office will know what I'm referring to with the IRCs?
How do I know how many I will need and how much are they?

They cost $2 and are hard to come by. Most post offices in the US seem to not even know what I am talking about when I ask for IRC's. don't be discouraged, though. I have found them. You could also send 2-3 dollars or purchase UK stamps online from the UK post office.
good luck {thumb2}

Yes. I forgot to mention that

. Wrap it up in paper or your letter or something, but don't put it in the SAE as the celeb may not see it.

When you go to the post office be sure not to ask for IRCs, but International Reply Coupons!!

I think I might go with the $5 bill.. it might suggest I'm really not just "collecting signatures" (not that there's anything wrong with that) and they might like having foreign money

I do. I ask for them both ways and they still don't know what I'm talking about! I either get "What?" or "I haven't seen them in years"!
