Do American stamps work in canada or china? Just wondering, b/c I want to send to avril lavigne and jackie chan.

Sending American stamps on the letter TO China/ Canada will be fine but on your SASE you need the country's stamps or an IRC.

No you really need to send either an IRC or try to get stamps from that country.

For Jackie Chan, you don't need an IRC. He kindly pays for postage. Hope this helps. And for Avril I have no idea! Check out other successes. IRC's can be found at your post office.
