Old address?

I mailed to an office's old address before I found out that they moved their office to somewhere else in the city. Will my letter get forwarded to their new address? Or will something else happen? Thanks.

If the agency has a forwarding order filed with post office (meaning that they have told the post office to forward their mail to the new address) then it will get forwarded and you don't have to worry about it. If they do not or the order has expired, then you will probably get it back as a RTS.

He's correct.

Assuming the agency did request an order, your mail is likely going to the new address.

But if that address is over a year old (the lenght of a Forwarding Order), or they didn't file a forwarding order...you'll likely get it back RTS
