IRCs and Stamps

Hi,

I have a question about IRCs and stamps.

Usually I send 2 IRCs with my requests (I live in Australia), but I have a friend in America who is going to send me some American stamps that I can put on my envelopes.

My question is this:

How many (or value) of stamps should I have on each envelope (from US to Australia)?

The IRCs are very expensive, but I'm not sure whether their total cost is equal to the cost of the actual stamps.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Hey drumchik,

I live in Australia too and I also found IRCs very expensive.

After looking through most of my envelopes, I realise most of the postage coming from US costs $1.80 US dollars. So if I got US Stamps I would put 2 .90 Stamps per envelope

You should be able to put $1.80 on it and it should be fine. so I'd put four stamps.
