Folding SASE?

Do people generally fold their 9x12 SASE into thirds or something to fit it into the envelope?

I usually just fold it in half and place it in another 9x12 envelope, with my letter and photo (if I have one).

yeh, just fold it in half and put it in the same size envelope. I have put a 8x10 or 9x11 in a 6x9 envelope - it saves in postage as it is not considered a large envelope which bumps the postage to 80 cents.
