you have to be careful when emailing celebrities who have a public email account(yahoo,hotmail) sometimes people will create emails to see what people wirte to the celebs. always be safe then sorry.

Sometimes however (yahoo or hotmail) are the celebs personal emails.

Yeah, sometimes they are their actual email addresses. I only send emails that have had success on these boards, or if it says on their official website.

I know but i'm just saying that i wouldn't write to that address unless i'm sure it's a celebrities address...I would hate having a total stranger having my address

I agree- why risk it? You probably only have 1 in 100 chance of getting it right... or higher odds...
I sent about 75% of my requests through email. And usually get a response from email back.

Actually, you have a good chance of recieving a response by using the email address. I would say about a 75% chance. Especially if it says so on an official website.

emailing doesn't always work...some will still ask to send a SASE.

Also the ones not real celeb emails can also be spammers trying to get a hold of other email addresses to spam. Just to let you all know.
