I have recently had an accident and to pay for all the medical bills i was thinking of (unfortunately) selling my collection. I know there is a selling forum here on the boards but all that happens there is alot of arguing as i've seen. I know EBAY is risky and filled with fakes so i'm hesitant to go there. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions on selling autographs?

These are the typical selling areas:

1. Ebay (But if you are not content, its fine)
2. Local Auction Houses
3. Privately to Friends and Family
4. Local Autograph Dealers (Though you will never get a good price)
5. This sites Sale/Exchange Forum

This sites sale and exchange forum is the most convenient. Yes people argue in there but there are genuine buyers on here who are true collectors. Ebay is the fastest, if you are needing the cash in a hurry. Local Auction Houses may take a while, but is safe if you wish to see your item being sold. Friends and family is self explanatory and so is the autograph dealer.

I hope that helped. I wish you good recovery from your accident.

Cheers
