Okay... soo.. I'm new to this. I want to get David Tennant's autograph for my mum cause she's had a crap time recently and she really likes him and his acting so.. yeah, I figured this would help.
So I was wondering, how to I know where to send it off to? Because I've been on 2 different websites and they've both given me different adresses.
Also, do you have to provide the photo? Because that's gunna be a problem for me. I'm only asking cause I really want this to work.
Lol sorry about this. Last question, do I have to pay?
I think this is mean if I do. So if I don't want to can I be cheeky and send off for one anyway?
Oh, remembered one more thing, what should I say in the letter? Cause I wanna say what I've said here.. but I wouldn't want to embarrass my mum.
And.. I just remembered there's one more question
Has anyone else here ever sent off for an autograph from David Tennant? And did he reply? Cause I'm not going to bother if he's not going to
But like.. thanks to anyone that reads this cause I could really do with the help :) xxx

Welcome to the forum.. I hope I cover all your points!

{up} David does reply. I have had a reply from him as have many other members.

{up} Use the address listed on here. Chances are both will work but I know for sure this one will work.

{up} All you need to say is that you are a fan, your mum is having a hard time & that you'd like him to sign an autograph for her. Make sure you include your mum's name as he dedicates photos that he signs.

{up} All you need to pay is for the return postage and outgoing postage. In other words, the postage needed to send the letter, and the postage needed for the rpely to be sent back.

{up} David provides photos, so you don't need to send one.

Hope that helps, and let me know if you need anything else,

Okay, you should check the database for address feedback first:

http://www.fanmail.biz/33098.html

I sent to David Tennat and I recieved an autograph back, as have many other people and the address that I used is the first one listed on that page :D

About paying, you don't have to send him any sort of money or a cheque, but you should pay for postage :) If you live in the UK then send a SASE (Self Addressed Stamped Envelope) to him with your request, and if you live outside the UK you should send a SAE (Self Address Envelope) and an IRC International Reply Coupon) which you should be able to pick up at your local post office :)

As for what to say in the letter, just introduce yourself and say that your mum is having a hard time recently and tell him that your mum is a fan of his work and ask him if he would mind sending your mum an autograph. It is best to include a photo, but I think that he may send you a signed photo wiithout one :)

Keep your letter short and sweet, but not too short. Definatey no more than 1 sheet of A4 paper :)

Also, you might want to mention your mums name as sometimes he inscibes photos :)

Good luck!
