Hello :) ^^

I would love to write to the cast of Harry Potter and send them a poster to sign, but all of the Harry Potter posters seem to be very dark with black or dark backgrounds.

Does anyone know of anywhere I can buy a silver or gold marker pen to send along with the request?

WH Smith, any office supply place, any stationary store.

I'll try there, but I don't remember seeing any silver markers there before. Thanks for the help though :D

I wouldn't think you needed to send a pen. The person probably has a gold/silver pen to sign with. Sending a pen with your letter would make your package heavier and cost more and the celebrity probably won't need it.

Enclosing a pen in your envelope could possibly bend the picture.

I thought about that but I will be sending it in a small poster tube because the picture is too big for a normal envelope, so it wouldn't bend :D

I thought of that, but I have seen signed photos of the harry potter cast signed in black on black which makes it very hard to see :(

This is a tricky problem. I reakon you should go with your idea of sending it in a poster tube, it makes more sense if the picture is quite big aswell. My opinion is to send the picture, letter, SASE and pen rolled up in the poster tube, and they can keep the pen and send your picture back in a large SASE.
