Hey I am just wondering because I have never done it before.

Because of the increasing prices of IRCs, I was wondering if I could just send Australian money to somebody in United Kingdom, for example?

Well, I know that I've sent a few dollars to people I write to in the US and they sometimes use it. And I sent 2 dollars each to Petra Kuklova and Margarita Svegdiate because I couldn't afford IRC's. So I'll let you know if I ever hear back from them.

I've sent dollars to Canada and England, it works.

I have done that before. It has been somewhat successful. What I would recommend is that if you have time, go to the bank and exchange your currency for the currency of the country that you are sending your request to. It would be much easier on the celebrity.

exactly what Cernan said. Go to the bank and get money in the currency of the country you are sending to. It would be easier to spend at the celebrities local post office, rather than the celebrity having to change the currency again which is worse than an IRC. Its more convinient, and downright cheaper than IRCs

It depends sometimes. I guess they will accept your money. Try to go to a current exchange and try to change your money.

I always just send a couple bucks (US) and that works for me. I would like to know what you guys from other countries do? Is it as successful sending money from your country to US as it is for me from US? That's something I have always wondered. Thanks!
