hi im kinda new in autograph collecting...and i've been wondering:

1. do u guys use an 9x12 env. to send a pic with ur request????

hi i use normal sized envelopes so that i only have to buy stamps instead of having to go to the post office but it depends if you are sending a photo or not and what size

well my photo is a magazine paper sort of...so idk....but
what if i have to send an SASE?

Get 2 envelopes big enough that your pic will fit in. If your pic is 8X10, I'd use 9x12.

Then put your photo, letter and SASE (I fold it in half so it will fit) into the envelope addressed to the celebrity.

P.S. A 9x12 envelope is what most people use as a SASE.

Here's what I do:

I take 2 envelopes; a 9x12 and an 8x10. I usually type a letter (don't forget to sign your name to it!) and fold it in half. I put my address on the 8x10 and put it inside with the letter (include an index card if you want that signed too). I put the celebrity's address on the 9x12 envelope with my return address on it too. I ALWAYS have to put "!PHOTO: DO NOT BEND!" in red sharpie on mine because our postal service up here stinks and they bend EVERYTHING unless you put that on there. They bent one of my autographs already.

Get postage on both envelopes, allthough I once forgot to put postage on the inside envelope but, the celebrity paid it anyways. Talk about being grateful!
