When requesting By Email

Hello =} I am not sure if this question ha been asked before, I thought I saw one a while back but I did a search and couldn't find it.

When requesting an autograph by email for a charity auction, would you include your letter of confirmaton as an attachment? Celebrities may be wary about opening attachments incase they have viruses in them =/

And would you just write in the body of the email the same as you would send in a letter? Because I don't want it to seem rushed and quick because one of the people I am thinking of emailing I am actually a huge fan of, so it may be better to send a letter to them.

And do you just put your address in the body of the email too?

Sorry if this has already been posted by someone else, if it has then pleae delete this one :)

I would just copy and paste it into the body of the email.
1.) You're right, some people won't open attachments due to viruses.
2.) Not everyone can always open the attachment successfully. I can't tell you how many times i've emailed an attachment and got an email back saying to copy it to the body of the email because they were unable to open it.

Hope that helps!

I dont send my confirmation letter via email.. it is up to them whether they believe you or not, and 99% of the time do. I've only had 2 cases where I've been asked to send a letterheaded copy
