How long should fan mail letters be? And what important comments should be included? I'm afraid my letter is either too short or too long and I'm drawling too much.

it's whatever you really feel comfortable with i guess, just i would say no longer than like one piece of paper front and back if you really have something important you'd like to point out... otherwise they might get overwhelmed. and i would at least mention one form of work or whatever that they have participated in that you really enjoyed, so they can tell you are a true fan and don't just want an autograph to say you have one. hope i could be of help

Letters, in my opinion, should be between about half a sheet of A4 Paper and one sheet of A4 Paper :)

There should be 4 main parts or paragraphs to your letter:

1) Introduce yourself - Your name, age, where you live etc
2) Say why you like the person you are writing to - Mention a film that they have been in, or an album that you particularly liked, a character that they played etc.
3) Ask for the autograph - Be polite and friendly when you ask, don't sound demanding or impatient and always use please and thank you :)
4) Thank them for taking the time to read your letter

Hope this helped!!
