Internation reply coupons

Just want to ask what are international reply coupons as my mum got me 4 2day and im not sure how to use them.
can some1 tell me if im right or wrong, do u put them in the envelope when you send the photo with self address envelope ( but not stamped) and the celeb signs them and they post it and u just give them irc for their trouble?

The IRCs are used for international postage. They get the IRCs and redeem them for stamps.

On IRC's from the UK, the circle on the left hand side should be stamped by the post office where they were bought. I think the stamp has to be there or else they won't be able to be redeemed.

And you're right - the coupon goes loose in the envelope along with the SASE and letter.
