Re: US Stamps SASE Question

Unread post by mattmiller1978 »

I am mailing from USA to the UK and want to include a SASE for return. I've been to my post office and they tell me IRC's (International Return Certificate) are now obsolete. I've been to the Royal Mail website attempting to purchase postage and it says that their postage is invalid one day after printing. HELP!!!!!!! WHAT DO I DO??? MORE THAN LIKELY, IF I DON'T PUT POSTAGE ON THE SASE, I WILL NOT RECEIVE MY AUTOGRAPH :(

Well Matt,

One option is to explain to the person that you couldn't get any IRC's. Another option would be to see if you can buy stamps from the England post website--stamps aren't obsolete one day later. You could check the exchange forum (on this website) and see if you can trade for english stamps if you can't find them on the webpage

Other than that there isn't really an option.
