Which is Better?
Honestly I love sending Celebs fanmail.. But unfortunatly I don't have a Printer or the right tools to Print out a Picture of Each Celeb I would Like to write to and ask for an autograph.
Is it better to send a Picture. Or is it okay to Just send a Letter?
What gives you better Chances/and Is their an easy way for me to get pictures of the Celebs I would like to ask for a request?
thankyou!!

Well in general I like sending pictures because it means that if you get ur pic back sign you automatically know it can't be a pp. Although it can still be an autopen or a sec I like being able to narrow out one of the fakes.

Every time I attach letter AND photograph because star will send you out preprint if you send only letter (for example
Lindsay Lohan).

Hi!
Yes, those're right. I always send out a photo or something to the celeb. If you don't have a photo then send them an index card.

But also, I sent Jake Thomas only a letter but I received a personalized photo, the same for Jason Dolley (but he does send out an extra photograph even if you send him another photo or magazine poster. {thumb2}
Good Luck anyway!

Nope. I try sending some little gifts when it's around someone's birthday but, I don't have anything to print out pictures. Besides. Printer paper is really expensive (the glossy kind). I send a really nice letter and ofcourse, a SASE, and maybe a little something I made.
So far this has landed me more authentics than PPs or APs!

I love the thought of sending them an index card {thumb2} After looking for ever for index cards, found something I think is altogether better
I found some, small blank cards 6x4 inchers unopen. These are great as the celeb, may write a little something inside if they wish {thumb2} {thumb2}
Best thing is, that they where so cheap 15 including envelopes, just £1/$2 {wow}

Hello JamiGertzFan!
I've never send a picture to someone when I write through the mail, except via venue.

What I like about not sending a picture or something to sign, is to get a
photo from the person.

I like it more to get a brand new photo from the celebrity because then you can look forward to what the photo is going to look like!

But that's just my opinion! {thumb2}
It is true what the above posts have said about sending your own photo can improve your chances of not getting a preprint.

But there is still some celebs who send your picture back unsigned and send you a preprint.

Daniel Craig, for example, sends preprints if you do not send you own photo. However, some people got back their own photos signed by him and others got the preprint and their photos back, unsigned.

I guess it really depends on who you write to.
I've collected autographs since 2004 now (it's actually not
that long!

) and I have only 3 preprints TTM (excluding SFM). And like I've said, I've never send a photo!
Good luck and I hope this helps! {thumb2}
Regards,
Lizanne
