Hey experts and kindly helpers,

What is the best way to close a fan letter:

I thougt of kindest regards, but I don't know what it means exactly!

I also searched in the net, and there I found so many variations that I cant say what's the right now (all the best, best wishes, friendly regards, love, kindly regards, best regards, truely yours, and much more!!!).

I would write polite but not too cold and distant or too formal! It should sound friendly, nice and modern...

I really hope you understand my problem :roll:

I think I would use: Yours sincerely or Kind Regards.

Kind regards just means you are thinking of them in a nice, kind way, I guess - its fairly informal, and is more friendly than Yours sincerely.

Hi KilledBill {up}

I always finish - Kind regards.
I find that is quite informal and modern, but quite respectful at the same time.

I must admit I have used "Yours sincerely", but usually only whe writing to royals, or titled people (Sirs, Lords etc)

Hope this helps! {thumb2} [uk]

I just say something like: Thanks for reading this letter and I wish you all the best.
