it's ok if I write to a celebrity through their college. There is an actress who is attending a college and I cannot find any addresses for her and the college is the only way. Is it ok?

I've had flowers sent to me for my b-day at the college campus I used to attend. Boy, I got nervous when an assistant tracked me down and gave me a note to go to the Dean's office; it reminded me of being called to the principal's office to be punnished.
That was at a small community college, not a huge university like I later attended. I don't know if that made much of a difference in my getting something that was sent to me via the college venue. Yet, if there are different campuses--as with some community colleges-- things might be more complicated.
To specifically address your question, I think it's
possible that your celeb would get the letter if you sent it to her college. I think it's important for you to make it known that she isn't a member of the faculity, but a student.
The one thing I know for sure is if you don't try, she'll never get it. And you write that via college is the only way you can find to contact her. I suggest giving it "the old college" try! {thumb2}
Good luck!

You could try this format:
Person's name (Student)
c/o college name
I hope it works for you.
