When people go to the oscars do they sleep over or do they just arrive a few hours before? I want to go but I am not sure what to expect? Does anyone know anything PLEASE post if you do thanks! [reindeer] [xmastree]

I can only go by the BAFTAs, as I'm in the UK.. for the Baftas, people usually arrive about 6am to get a good spot, some very 'die-hard' collectors will sleep out overnight. You'd have to get there VERY early, and then it would be a waiting game for about 12 hours.
Hope this is some help to you,

To me, I don't really think it's worth going to the Oscars. I mean, you don't get very close to them at all, since you're normally sitting in bleacher type stands...so it's pretty difficult to meet any celebrities. This is just based on what I've seen on TV throughout the years. You can always go and try, expect to get there VERY early though.

Wait one more question! For the oscars or some other award ceremony where they have the seats for like four hundred fans is that the only place you are aloud to wait if you are a fan?
