i know this has probably been asked a thousand times but...

when sending to a theatre for a specific date (January 10)
when should i mail it out at the latest
and what should i write on the envelope?

I would send it out so that it reaches the theatre maybe 1 - 2 days before the show, but no more than that as it may get lost. If you are using 1st class stamps then I would send it on maybe the 5th January.

On the envelope, I would write the name of the person who you are sending too, and then c/o the theatre. i.e:

Person's Name
c/o Theatre Name
Theatre Address
...
...

Also it is a good idea to include your own photo, as the person may not have brought photos with them to the theatre

If you dont have, a photo, try sending index cards, to them.

I brought, some really cheap black cards, that I have been using, as index cards.

I know not all celebs, sign Index cards, but I've had loads of success with them.

It depends where you're sending it to. If you're from the east coast, sending to the west coast, it'll probably take about 4-5 days, average. If the venue is no so far from where you live, then send it about 2-3 days earlier.
