Question, need quick response

Ok, so I"m wanting to send VV to Matthew Goode who's playing in "Watchmen" filming ends in Feb. Anyway, here's my dilemma, filming is in Canada, and I need to send an SASE only I don't have Canadian stamps. Would it work if I sent an SASE with American Stamps? Or if I sent an SAE and included a dollar?? This is really one of my first times sending Venue to a movie set, so any help would be wonderful.

If filming is in Canada, an American dollar will do just as much as American stamps. They're not going to help.

I'm not sure if they still make them, but this is when an IRC or two would come in handy. Or you just send a SAE and explain that you don't have the materials necessary to pay return postage. Or you can write COD where the stamp would go on the SAE. I'm not sure if that would work, but I think that it would.

Yeah that's what I figured. What does COD stand for?? I might do that.

COD stands for Cash On Delivery.

Being another country, I'm not sure if they would accept this or not.

I reccomed that you send a SAE and just explain that you don't have the ability to pay for return postage. That should work.

you could try with a dollar, it may or may not work. It really depends the destination and how the celebrities fan mail is handled. Having stamps on an SASE saves far more time for them. However, if unavailable, I guess you could always send the dollar and try. I would recommend $2 as if you are sending 8x10 or even 5x7, shipping is more than a $1 for sure.

However, I still do recommend stamps if you can get em

Yeah, you can send a dollar or two, it has worked for me in the past (even with venues).

Yeah I'll probably just end up sending a dollar and an SAE. Even if the dollar is useless it's the thought that counts and I'll just explain the situation. Hopefully he'll sign the picture and send it back, and hopefully he'll notice how it's signed by Piper Perabo and really send it back. It's worth a shot.

I'd send $2, postage in Canada is higher, It takes $1.78 to send a 8x10 from Canada to the US

Yeah it's not an 8x10 it's actually a really small picture. I sent the dollar and and an SAE today. Hopefully he'll understand and send me back the picture. He seems like a really nice guy. And thanks to everyone for all the help!
