2 Write to Sports stars , if you want to send something with the letter, then you hope that the other side signed,often choose cards or photos?

Hello chock.lee! ;-)

I hope that I understood your questions right, but here's what I think:

1. It's up to you whether you want to send your own pictures or not. Most people already have photos to sign. {up} I never send my own pictures and I've gotten authentic replies from almost everyone I wrote to. But there's some celebrities that send out preprinted autographs if you don't send your own photos/items. So I suggest that you check the "Feedback" forum to see who signs pics and who sends preprints. {thumb2}

2. Most soccer/football clubs like Manchester United have pre signed club cards to send to fans, but some players will sign pictures that you send too, for example Cristiano Ronaldo. So again, it's up to you if you want to send your own photos or not, but most clubs have cards to send to fans! ;-)

Hope this helps! If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask!

Good luck,
Lizanne

thanks mate. my meaning is I write to a star, maybe I use my own photo and IRC send to him, I hope that he signed on the photo and reply me. Whether it will be easier to reply? I think stars always receive a lot mails every day. If I use my own photo and IRC, he will save time and money to reply and I have somewhat greater chance of getting signed than others.

Sending an IRC when sending out of your country does increase your chances of receiving a reply. It really all depends on who you send your request to. Some, regardless if you send an IRC, photo and sase it won't matter if they don't sign thru the mail.

um...well, you usually just write a letter requesting their autograph because some or most celebrities give out their own photos but if you really want to send a letter to that celeb, try to search for them on this site and see the feedbacks that people have posted if there is any...and see what they received, and what they sent. If you don't like the picture that the celeb sends out or if you just have a picture or a better picture that you want them to sign, then you could send it to them with your letter requesting them to sign your photo. Some celebs require you to send them an SASE (self address stamped envelope to pay for the return postage) if you live in the same country as them, but if you don't some celebs require you to send them a couple of IRCs (International Return Coupons if your country is part of the program to trade for postage to send something back to you). If you live in a different country than a celeb you want to write to and they require you to send some kind of return postage but your country is not part of the IRC program, then you must send some kind of money to them. BUT...not all celebs require you to send them return postage but its nicer if you do. Some celebs reply to you even if you don't send them return postage so it all depends.
