Two questions:)

Unread post by AMCP »

Would it be rude to ask the celebrity to sign to your full name?
I don't want to ask more then I should since they are already sending me a photo. :?

_____________

Also, I am really fond of the idea of sending photos along with my letters. Though printing 8x10s can get a bit pricey, how do 5x7s work with signing? Did you find it a bit crowded and wished you had gone up a photo size? Or did they turn out just fine?

Thank you for reading this,
AMCP

I really don't know. I have only had one person do it and that was because, I think, they copied what I wrote on the back (my full name incase my photo got separated from my letter, they could return it to me).

I guess it wouldn't hurt and it would "prove" you aren't going to sell it.

When I send photos, I usually send 5X7 or 4X6 because they are cheaper. The only caution I have is be careful that the image you get developed (if it is digital) has a lot of pixels.

Good luck with your letters!

Hello AMCP! ;-)

Hope I can help you out! {thumb2}

I don't think it's really that rude but it may looks like you think the celebrity has all the time in the world to fulfill everyone's requests. If you have a good reason why you want it that way, mabey try to explain (I know Ian McKellen personalised my autograph to my name and surname... :lol: ).
Also, I am really fond of the idea of sending photos along with my letters. Though printing 8x10s can get a bit pricey, how do 5x7s work with signing? Did you find it a bit crowded and wished you had gone up a photo size? Or did they turn out just fine?
A lot of celebs actually sends out 5x7 photos and they look great! :mrgreen: Not too crowded at all so you can send 5x7's to celebrities! {up} I have a lot of 5x7 and even 4x6 photos, I never send 8x10's as it's way too expensive to send here in South Africa! :D

Good luck, AMCP!! {thumb2}

Lizanne

I don't think it would be rude, and they worst thing that could happen would be that you wouldn't get your name on it at all. But like BossC said, it proves you arn't going to sell it.
