Hey charis! Welcome to the boards!
IRCS are often stamped to be valid (I think). If you are to send to any foreign country, included at least 2 IRCS in your letter.
Good luck!

Hi, it also happened to me that I bought some unstamped IRCs and I emailed to the post office and they answered me that it´s not a problem, they wrote IRCs are valid without stamp. But I also read they must be stamped, that´s why I emailed to the post office.

I had this problem a while ago.
I told the Post Office that it had to be stamped,
and they said no.
And I still did stand for my word.
so, the post office on my place, called the biggest post office in Norway.
they told that I had right.
so all the UNstamped IRCs were valid.
but I got new IRCs, instead.
so ya, I would have stamped them
