Emailing Venues?

Unread post by Bazmaster »

Hey there im quite new to all this so i dont know if ive posted this in the right bit. I was just wondering if you sent emails to the venues some stars perform at would they pass on the request to the celebrity or just ignore it?

Hi Bazmaster,
I think I moved this into the correct forum, but if not, sorry.
Some venues might read your email and ask the celebrities for their autograph, but others might just delete it. If you have your mind set on a certain celebrity, look where they are performing and start with the first venue, after the date it was held, a week later, if you get nothing, then try the next venue they are at. Hope I helped! :)

Yeah I haven't received a reply from a VV I sent for Miley Cyrus... I'm still waiting but I'm thinking about whether I should try again...

And Danny how do you move topics. I have tried but I just don't know where to do it.

Many venues do not pass on fan mail through the mail, so using email is very doubtful. There's a list in the via venue forum that says which venues pass on mail and which do not. Even if a venue is listed as a DO, I would double check since I have found that list not 100% accurate. 8)

I always ask a venue when I'm not sure and I mostly get a reply back. Some were pretty honest saying yes and no but some just ignored my e-mails.

Hey,
You should email the venue to check if they would pass on the fanmail, if they say yes, then you can post them.

I write TTM. I don't mind paying to 48p to get an autograph, whilst some places sell for way over £100 (depending on who it is)
