UK stamps advice needed!

Unread post by des liner »

I was wanting to know how much in britain does a 1st class stamp cost, and would 1 1st class stamp be enough to send a signed photo (average envelope size) to New Zealand in airmail? If its not enough, how many 1st class stamps would i need? Im asking this because i want british stamps to put on SASE's and i want to know what amount i need (i dont understand this 1st class and 2nd class thing. Why can it just say 1 pound or something lol). Thanks

Hi Des,

I believe the value of a 1st class stamp is £0,34.

To find out how much the postage is from the UK to New Zealand you can use this form here. (Depending on its weight)

Yep 1st class is 32p
To mail a letter about 20g (that would be about 3 6x4 photos) it would cost 78p. i am trying to get rid of my 78p stamps so please contact me if intersted.
