I have a question What would happen if I send my own marker in my envelope ? Would the
celebrity use and return my marker ? Like if I wanted a gold signature and I send a celebrity
a gold pen . or any other color.

I would save that for an in-person encounter, unless you're sending a book or other item in which you're shipping a box.

There's no guarantees the celeb will use it; it's extra postage; and because it's a 3-D object, if you ship it with a photo, even in a padded envelope, you're risking shipping dings to your picture. Then there's the possibility of the pen leaking ink all over your item.

Gold and silver paint pens are a pain anyway, since they have to get started and take longer to dry. Remember having one during an in-person encounter, while the line seethed behind you as the person tried to get the marker started and you juggling stuff until you were sure it dried. Now picture someone at home or in an office, finally getting the marker started and then not allowing sufficient time for it to dry.

I've had mixed success with celebrities using gold or silver pens (on their own accord.) Some have come out great. Others have flaked or not adhered to the photo well that basically I wasted postage.
