French and German postage rates?

I cannot get IRCs, I'm looking to send mail to Diane Kruger, who's fan mail address is in France, and Milla Jovovich VV in Germany. HOWEVER, I am going to the airport soon, so I can exchange dollars into Euros. These countries were not listed in the international postage sticky, so I was hoping someone could help me get an idea of how much I would need to send a 9x12 SASE + pic (approximately 60g) back to the US from each country. I assume Euros are good in both nations? Please excuse my ignorance if I'm wrong and let me know the correct currency. Thanks!!
