where can i buy american stamps???

I would like to know where i can buy american stamp's, i don't really want to buy off the internet.
I need them to write to Al Martino for a friend.
could i exchange money for american stamps at the post office or something like that?
any help would be appreciated

Hey scouse :)

Have you tried the trade forum to see if anyone's willing to swap for U.K stamps or IRC's? Unfortunately I can only provide an internet-based solution : http://www.usps.com - unless you maybe have a philately shop in your vicinity that you could try out?
