Hello, i have a Gilberto official arsenal poster, obtained by a british relative of mine at a arsenal game iside a program a couple of years ago. Anyone know wether Gilberto would sign it for me? And also would he also sign a non official arsenal pic? And do officical arsenal pictures you buy from arsenal have writting or something, that identifies it as official? Becuase i would like to send some pic that isnt offical that i print from my pc

I don't know if he will sign it or not, but there has been successe's on here where people have printed there own photo's off and sent them to arsenal and got them back signed.
Don't expect and authentic reply 1st time you send it though, most of the time it take's afew tries before you get a authentic
As for the official photo's they don't have anything written on them to say it's from arsenal, i think you can only buy those headshot's from arsenal but i'm not too sure about that though.

Arsenal recently sent a member on here a letter saying they "Only sign official merchandise". (Link - http://www.fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=88400 - Click the scan of the letter to read it) Im not sure if a poster from a programme would qualify, but I would say it possibly doesnt. You can try sending a pic printed off your PC but you probably wont get lucky. As for the pics, they dont have anything written on them that identifies them as official pics, but the size, quality and paper used should make it simple for them to indentify whether its official or not.

Dang, i hoped that they would sign it as it says Arsenal on it and arsenal offical poster 2006/2007 and emirates stadium on it, and a pp signature of gilberto on it. Will send anyways, hope to get reply! Which addy should i send to? Who knows, maybe it will count as offical merchandise, as it does have official on it!! the poster got a couple of holes on it from pins and old age, but i dont care, probably got a better cahnce of being signed than a printed pic.
