Hello guys,

I´m sorry to bother you, but I´ve just found this information and I don´t really understand it - maybe it´s my bad English or just my brain being slow, but please, could someone explain this to me..? I´ll be very grateful..

This is what I found:

You can write to Bill via his publicist's address. (and don't forget the return postage. Since the service of International Reply Coupons is cancelled at post offices worldwide since this summer, please ask for replacements at your local post office when outside UK).

What do they mean by "Since the service of International Reply Coupons is cancelled at post offices worldwide"...? Does it mean that IRC´s won´t be in use anymore or...?

Thank you for help..

omg  I'm in shock how could that have happen? Is that the reason for the fact that i couldn't have find IRCs in my city? btw I live in Poland ;/ but still if that's true that would mean that my recent letters with IRCs doesn't pay for postage! God it's horrible, guys please tell me that it's some kind of a mistake..... please.... but don't lie xD

I just brought some today from the main post office and i don't think they would sell me something that cannot be used.
I have no idea what they mean by them being cancelled, wouldn't it be in the paper's or wherever as it concern's all post office's around the globe, i think she is mistaken and has made a mistake

The only thing I can think of is that that information is out of date, and it refers to when they "changed" the IRCs last year (or the year before, whichever it was, I forget)

Hey, I didn´t mean to scare anyone, {love} I haven´t heard of it before myself, so that´s why...

I found it on Bill Nighy´s "official webpage" (it claims to be, even though doesn´t look very much like it, in my humble opinion..).. I´ll give you the link so you see it wasn´t me who made up that sentence ;-)

http://www.billnighy.net/FAQ.htm

I just wanted to know what you think as I had no clue what it was referring to.. The out-of-date information which Andy316 suggested seems logical (I didn´t know that IRCs were changed). So thank you. :) more opinions are still welcome, of course :)

The IRCs were changed in 2006, I presume that what it means. All that happened was a new design was brought in and the old ones were invalid after a certain date.
