Sorry if I sound stupid, but I've never collected autographs before, can someone please explain to me what to put in my envelope, where to find pics of celebs to send (I don't want to buy, just print) and anything else useful
Cheers
Caz

Hi, I'm sure that answers to all of your questions were already posted on this forum but my tip is thath if you don't mind having PP's in your collection then the good way to start is Studio Fan Mail which takes ussually 'bout two months to reciev an autograph, I started that way ;) In your envelope you should put a letter, SASE or SAE with an IRC or 'bout two USD for celebrity to pay the postage and optionally a photo of the celebrity, you can print it or take it to a photographer to do that (that's what I do) you can find photos all over the net for example on google graphic by typing there celebrities name, either way photo is optional 'cuz celebs ussually have their photos to send out ;)
Hope I have helped you.

Hello Ballerinacaz! ;-)

In your envelope addressed to the celebrity, you should include:
- your fan letter, no longer than one page.
- your mailing address, whether it's on your letter or somewhere on the envelope or on your Self Addressed Envelope (SAE). {thumb2}

The following is optional:
- an International Reply Coupon (IRC), if it's available in your country...
- a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope (SASE) - stamps from the country you're sending to, for example USA stamps.
- a photo of the celebrity, but most celebrities already have photos to send to fans! {up}

I always use pics from celebrity fansites, check out http://www.fan-sites.org :razz: Do a search on your favourite celebrity to see if there's a fan site for them, if not, go to Google and type in "{name of your celebrity} fan site". You'll most likely find high quality pics there! :D

Good luck collecting, Ballerinacaz! :mrgreen: If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask! {thumb2}
