Questions about sending baseball cards TTM

I want to get an autograph from Gabe Kapler currently with the Brewers so I was going to send some baseball cards in to be signed to the team address on here, but I had a couple of questions:
1, how many cards to send? I'm not too worried about losing them but I don't want to send two many, I was thinking about sending two cards.
2, is it OK to send cards to be signed with the player on another team? I know that might sound silly but just wanted to know if that would be ok (ie a card when he used to play for the Rangers)
