Hi lamb_of_god123420
I know it can seem a little daunting when you first begin writing letters, but after a while you will find your own style.
What I would do is remember a couple of key things:
Firstly, always be polite and sincere. Secondly, keep it brief!
Something like:
Dear "Whoever",
I hope you don't mind, but I just wanted to drop you a quick line to say how much I enjoyed seeing you in (whatever).
I have followed your career very closely, and you really are one of my favourite (actors/actresses etc). The part I especially like was (whatever).
I hope you don't mind me asking, but I would really appreciate a signed photograph of you if that is possible. Of course if you are unable I will totally understand.
Just in case you can help me I have enclosed a self addressed stamped envelope together to cover the postage.
Thank you for your time, and best of luck for the future.
Kind regards
(Your name)
Obviously, you will need to write your letter in a style that feel comfortable to you, but I hope this gives you a few pointers!
Cheers {thumb2}
