In this time here are so many things which are followed by every person. so autograph is that which is liked by everyone. Some people like to collect the signature of great Politician. So they collect those honorable Politician autograph as a collection. But due to every one's like and dislike some companies are here for providing the autographs of celebrities. They also charge for it.

Well Most sports stars charge ttm or in person....LoL I think there are many stars Joan Collins for one who has done a few Autograph ahows and charges but TTMs are free. I know before Ginger Rogers died she would charge only 5.00 including the photo and postage but would be free if you send the photo and SASE. Although it aometimes took over a year. I think some people charge just for the simple fact that especially if you are sending to a home address and dont include a SASE and photo thats money out of their pockets and some get hundreds if not more requests a week. That might not be a problem for Brad Pitt....but say someone like Tippi Hedrin, Eva Marie Saint etc.....they might live comfortably but certainly did not make the money the stars of today do. I remember hearing Ginger Rogers say in an interview that whenever a clip of her and Fred was shown or a movie on TV Fred would get residuals but she wouldnt get a dime.....So some of the top box offices names back in the day are not living filthy rich....I know it is hard for some fans to spend money for a signed photo. And what I disagree with is especially the sports stars and other celebs charging too much unless it goes to charity.
I think that is so true fans will buy it and not resell on Ebay etc....as they charge alot more then there worth in some instances.

So it is hard to spend 40-60 to get an autograph at a show which you know is only worth $25 even if you dont plan to sell. I guess that the good points are at the shows you get to meet the celeb and know its genuine....but paying hundreds for a baseball HOFer TTM is hard for me. For one you dont even get to meet them and as I said above are very over priced....like I also said above though I think they are doing it to discourage selling on ebay etc. I know If I say were Hank Aaron and saw hundreds of listings going for hundreds of dollars I would start becoming leary.
Funny quote from Elizabeth Taylor on the subject.....while signing for the same kid in person for many years in a row. " I dont know why I sign for the little sh*t because I know he sells them" and still continued to sign.....LoL

Taylor Swift has a print on her website for $350. Even if it's framed and matted and all that, it's worth maybe $100-150 if your a die-hard Swiftie. They actually sold out, too.

Yes the fee was the same wether you sent in your own, or if he sent you something. I'm not sure if he's still letting people send in their own items though

Candace Carmen Bure (DJ Tanner from Full House) sells autographs on her site for about $5-10 bucks

she doesnt sign TTM that i know of
