Lol... There are some other greats who charge a lot when you can get a certified on ebay. (Steve Carlton, Red Scheondinst, Bert Blyleven, Johnny Bench) The Whitey Ford was a excellent idea because I am a die-hard Yankee fan and most people other than Yankee fans wouldn't remember him.

Actually, I know a lot of people who aren't Yankee fans who remember Whitey Ford. Kinda a hard name to forget. I also scored a Red Scheondinst($16.50), George Foster($21.50), Brett Saberhagen($12.38), and Gaylord Perry($11.84) signed baseballs last night. Someone did snipe a Hoyt Wilhelm ($22.01), Billy Williams ($16.01), Andre Dawson ($17.01), Juan Marichal ($19.26) and a Bob Feller ($20.51) from me last night. Great deals for small budgets.

I agree, but when you talk about the Yankees, you think Babe Ruth, Gehrig, Mantle, DiMaggio, Reggie, Jeter, A-Rod, Posada and Mo.. And nice deals you got!

True, true, but I like the footnotes of history, and ones I can actually afford... LOL. I just picked up a Hank Aaron signed ball and I'm sending it out to get PSA/DNA certified. Nabbed it for $32 and it does look real to me. Also, picked up a Brandon Webb signed ball for $1.04, already psa/dna certified. Also picked up a Hideki Matsui signed card for $2.36. Same as the one I had, but I know it's real because it looks just like mine, and again, certified.
