Movie Preimere question

Unread post by KellyMBel »

Hi. I am going to attend my first movie preimere in June and I have a couple of questions on what to expect.

1. The preimere I am going to is "The Lake House". Do you have to buy tickets or pay to get in?

2. Does it often get crowded quickly? How soon should I arrive in order to be in time for the red carpet arrivals?

3. Is there any way you can stay for the red carpet arrivals only, and not the movie? If so, do you still have to pay to get in?

4. On average how much are tickets?

Thanks so much for any help!

I have been to a lot of movie premires and I have some answers to your questions

1. The public is not able to get tickets to the movie, unless you win them, like on a radio staion or something. There is also a chance that you could get tickets at the premire, but that is not likely. I've been to over 50 and only have gotten tickets once. Also you don't need to buy tickets just to see the red carpet.

2. It depends on the movie if it will be really crowded or not. I'm not familiar with The Lake House and how crowded it will be. For myself if the premire starts at 6 I usually get there around 2 or 3. Sometimes there are a lot of people already, and sometimes only a few.

3. You can always just stay to see only the red carpet. Also if you want you can wait for the movie to be over and see if you can get anyone that you missed when they arrived. There are a lot less fans that way too.

4. I'm pretty sure you can't buy tickets. I think they are all free.

Also are you going to the premire in Los Angeles? If so then I am familiar with the Cinerama Dome if you have any other questions. You can PM me.
