woot! got my first send out and winner from 2013 back already: Roger Craig. He signed 5 cards and included a few of his own, plus answered my questions. Heh. He said he might grow back his mustache. Took 5 days. Donation of 5 bucks a card, but I gave him a bit more and he responded with a lot more.

Fair warning btw about Boomer Esiason- he's a notorious stamper. They will send you a facsimile autograph if you do not make a donation. Woodson is not an easy score TTM- in fact not sure if he does it, and Blades took a bit over a year to respond to me when I sent out for him.

I sent to boomer a year and a half ago and got a stamped sig. The second time I sent to him I was 3 for 3 and a real signature on each. No donation either time. I think it just depends on whether he is there when your mail gets there. Go for it.

I decided to pull Boomer: As much as I LOVE stamps.... yeah.

I've replaced him with Lawrence Taylor: from what I've read and seen, he's usually pretty generous with his signature, so I'm going to take a stab at it.

I'm also going to write to Andrew Whitworth.

I am very happy to announce that sometime in the next few months, I will start sending a couple jerseys a month ttm! I know the risks, but I found some cheap jerseys on some websites and figured why not. Just wondering who you guys think I should send first! Since I'm a Giants fan, Harry Carson obviously comes to mind because he is such a great signer. Also I have Ed "Too Tall" Jones in mind because I got him today. Just wondering who you guys think I should send.

I agree it's risky, but totally worth it if you ask me. I have gotten a couple of EXCELLENT successes with jerseys, and if you can get one cheap that you don't mind losing, the risk is worth the possible reward. Good luck!

Thanks shadow. Just wondering how much does it usually cost in postage? And do you have any suggestions on who I should send to first. Thanks!

Knicks, I don't know if you are a fan of him, but Dallas Clark is AWESOME with signing jerseys. I had two from when he played for the Colts and never got around to sending them. I sent them to him at Tampa and he signed both. Turn around was like 3 weeks. Give him a try if you have a jersey. I used a priority mail box (you can request them from usps.com)with 6$ postage already attached along with my address on the box. The size I used was the size above a 6x6x7. Make sure it is NOT a flat rate box!! Then, I used the brown kraft paper (you can get a roll at Dollar Tree for a dollar) and wrapped the box. It shipped for around $5. Total I spent $11 or $12, but I used priority mail. I would say a safe price range would be around $10.

I received a signed Jets Mini Helmet today from Head Coach Rex Ryan. Took about a month to get it back. I now have out a Patriots Mini Helmet to Head Coach Bill Belichick. I already had a success from him earlier on a Super Bowl License Plate. Figured I would step up the quality and add to my signed mini helmet collection.

Just wondering, is it too late to send to players on teams that are not in the playoffs? I am wanting to send to Trent Richardson from the Browns, but wondering fi i should wait till warmer weather.
