What websites or conventions offer "pre-order" autographs?

Unread post by gghi18 »

Hi everyone,

I thought this would be a useful topic for FM and wanted to bring it up. I think it's awesome when conventions offer (for a added fee) a "pre-order" service to obtain an personalized autograph. It's very convenient if you cannot travel, which many (myself included) cannot afford. To get started, a couple websites that I know of are:

Official Pix: http://officialpix.com/
Hollywood Show: http://hollywoodshow.com/

Sometimes, you can find collectors who go to events and try to get an autograph of someone you want (inscribed, if desired but not guaranteed) but that isn't a formal as either of the websites listed above. Plus, you have to be aware of scammers, too. Any websites you want to add that offer the pre-order service? Thanks!

I appreciate and welcome comments on the authenticity of autographs I have received. Thank you! Sincerely, gghi18 8)

I agree about the Hollywood Show. It has autograph shows two or three times a year in LA and Chicago. If you can't make it, you can pre-order autographs by either choosing from their selection or sending in your own photo. They are generally okay about filling pre-orders, but I had some issues last time due to celebs taking off early before the show runner could get my pre-orders filled. Apparently, he went around trying to get them for weeks.

They also have private signings for celebs that are unlikely to ever turn up at a show or a convention. Most recent private signings have included Ed O'Neill and Tim Curry.

They are great for getting classic TV stars, including some of the wonderful character actors.
