Newbie Collector

Unread post by GEAUXDJ »

Hi, I am a new collector as in sending off for autographs, I have plenty autographs that I have recieved in person but I am now interested in sending off for some. This seems to be easier than going everywhere trying to find celebs.

I guess my questions are, what size envelopes to use? do i need to include my own photos to send to them? How much return postage to include on my return package... Just the basics to get me started, your help would be greatly appreciated and I hope to have a bunch of success very soon.

Thanks and have a great day!

hi Josh and welcome to the forum

I usually send out 9x12 envelopes, and most of the celebs will provide a photo so I usually dont send one unless Im sending via venue.

as for postage, it depends on where you live, If your in the US sending to somewhere in the US, it takes .63 to mail envelopes that size

I appreciate it, so usually it is 2 stamps to return, and usually yall send the package to them 1st class mail? (Seems like most people do). I live in La. so if thats it I'm ready to start sending!

Thanks again, Josh
