celebs who sign things you send them

okay - so this topic is my idea for one that shuold be a "sticky" on the forum.

I've only recently begun sending items for celebs to sign (Dakota Fanning signed my book) but I'm curious about others here at the forum - what celebs have you sent items for them to sign, and they actualy signed them?

I have only ever sent one item to a celebrity, and that was to Gordon Ramsay. It was a photo of me and him from when I met him.

Most celebrities I just send index cards to.

I sent my Rutles Video cover to Eric Idle and got that back signed. Recently I have been sending out loads of 6x4 photos to different celebs, but I haven't had any of them back yet!

I've sent a few VHS & DVD covers to be signed, and have received most of them back (so far). Once I sent a 'Scream' DVD Disc to Neve Campbell when she was performing in a play in London. She signed and personalized the disc for me.

This is not me but someone else I've heard of on another site who said she sent the Emma Thompson Sense and Sensibility Diaries book to Alan Rickman and he signed it. He tends to personalize everything if you can get him. Also, another sent their DVD insert of something else and their Mesmer VHS cover. I know he doesn't like to sign HP-related stuff because he fears it will end up on Ebay. Someone who met him in person had to practically give him blood to prove that they valued his signature more than money they could make with it! lol.

Anybody ever send a magazine to be signed? I'm leaning towards that idea for someone.

i know jojo will sign stuff because a friend of mine sent in her aquamarine DVD cover.
