I always send a SASE or a few dollars depending on the size of the SAE I'm including. What I do is fold the dollars in to swans, I've gotten several thank you's for the "swan" in my replies.

I don't really recommend sending money in the mail though ... in case it gets stolen or the post office returns the letter to you.

However, if you do send money (do not send coins!!) then make sure you conceal it really well!!

Oh I do agree about sending cash, I ONLY do that if I have to write to another country-which isn't too offen. When I do I always make sure to put it inside the letter and use the darker manila envelopes

It has been neat to have it mentioned in a letter back to me though

i couldnt get any canadian stamps or IRCs for sum reason so what I did for rachel mcadams is i just put in a dollar and prayed it converted into enough canadian money to pay the postage haha [[i just sent it out like last week, so i'll tell you what happens if i ever get it back]]. i put it inbetween the picture and the letter, which was inside the fold of the SAE so i think it's consealed enough lol. so i guess i'm kinda hopin the cash thing works for me too
