Waiting too long for LotR answers :(

Back in February, I wrote to 5 Lord of the Rings actors - Sir Ian McKellen, Sean Bean, David Wenham, Sir Ian Holm, John Rhys-Davies - and I only got Sir Ian Mckellen back so far

Does anyone know if it's normal for these actors to take so long to reply? I know the addressed I used work but I'm starting to worry, it's been 7 months!

Any ideas?

Hi Aragil,

Well, I'm not sure I can really say what the expected time frame of waiting from these actors are! 7 months does seem a little long, but it also depends on how much fanmail they receive and whether they're filming! I can tell you some of the ones I have received maybe to help... Some of them may take long than others though! Here's when I sent and received some of the ones you have requested!

Sean Bean- Sent: May 12 Received: ??? (He's gonna be in Toronto this weekend for the film festival, hoping to get his auto then! *crosses fingers*)
David Wenham- Sent: August 2 Received: ???
Sir Ian Holm- Sent: August 2 Received: August 25

Btw, All of the above are from this year!! I really hope you get them back!

Hey!!

Well i'm finding it kind of strange that Sir Ian Holm is taking so long to reply to you, he's usually very quickl with his fanmail! You might want to resend to him! I sent to him on August 30, 2005 and nothing as of yet. I sent to Jonathan in June and i haven't heard anything yet either, so don't give up home. i'm sure they're all busy with filming! I hope you get something soon!!

Thanks for your help Since I sent my own picture to all of them, maybe it's taking this long because they're filimng... I don't know.

I'll definitely resend to Sir Ian Holm and I'll use the address on your site, Chrissy and Larisie I wrote him to the Julian Belfrage association and it used to work, but I won't risk and I'll try your address

This situation is really weird because I haven't even got a RTS back, so hopefully my pictures are at the agencies waiting to be signed

Good luck in writing to those actors, Larisie! I hope they catch up with their fanmail and answer us!

You had Elijah Wood in there and now it's the Toronto Film Festival, the city will be "invaded" by great actors and actresses! I hope you get to meet them and get more autographs to add to your fantastic collection!!
