Have you ever...

Have you ever showed someone who was not an autograph collector your PP's and made them belive they were real? I took a few of mine to school and showed them to people. Luckily, I live in a very small town (about 2,000 people) and no one tried to steal them.

My friend found out I'm into auto collocting and brought a picture from a letter she had sent a few years ago, she thought it was real and was really upset when I told her it was PP. I felt so bad!!!

Well, people who aren't familar with pre-prints, autopens, secretarial, et al would probably believe that the signatures are real. I have 10+ SFM's which, if I showed them to someone who is not familar with autograph collecting, they would probably believe that the SFM's are real.
