In the future. . .

Unread post by TheMailman »

In the future, what do you plan to do with your autographs? Whether them being TTM, Purchased, SFM, In-person, Via Venue etc.

Do you think that an autograph that you own (signed photo, index card etc.) will be worthless as the celebrity (at the time) isn't going to be famous in the future. If so name celebrities, who you think will be forgotten in the future

Do you think that an autograph you recieved when the star just started out will be worth a lot when you realise they are a Hollywood A-lister in the future? If so name celebrities, who you think will be mega famous in the future.

Do you think signing sessions, signing through the mail and in-person autographs will all be banned in the future?

All thoughts, suggestions, comments, questions and answers are welcome

I personally think autographs will never get old or banned. I think its a fun hobby that will be passed down for a long time!

I personally think that if you collect autos just to sell them in the future, you are not a true collector.

I'm not bothered if mine will be worth anything.as it is i haven't written to any hollywood a-listers anyway...perhaps my jacqueline wilson one in 30 years time? lol...actually, it would be great if Olivia Hallinan became REALLY famous because I've got hers.
Besides that I just write to people who matter to me.
been around the world and i have seen your love....

I guess the value of authentics will go up in the future but I'm not selling mine :D I guess it would be interesting if you showed your collection to your grandchildren in the future and sort of brag about it

I plan to keep my autographs. I also don't look at what an autograph might be worth in the future because I do this for fun & not for money.

And also, I don't think that signing sessions, signing through the mail and in-person autographs will all be banned in the future because there will always be famous people & people will still want their autographs. People have been collecting autographs for many, many years.
