Question

Unread post by TheMailman »

Would you:

Take the opportunity to have an autograph of an actor/actress that you know 100% is authentic, rare and you desperately want it in your collection but the photo of the actor/actress is quite old, its a grainy image and the pen used was with little ink so the signature is not to its greatest.

Or

Wait a lifetime to get the signature (they are a bad signer TTM) and you may never be able to obtain that signature.

What would you do?

Depends on who the celebrity is. But, most of the time I pick take the old grainy picture with a barely but real signature.

I would get the first one, and then try to get one through the mail.

I would take the 100% authentic autograph even though it's old because I wouldn't want to wait forever for an autograph which I might never be able to obtain again.

No way would I add an autograph of anybody living or deceased regardless how old or how hard to obtain it is if the autograph is illegible. grainy, creased, yellowed, etc is fine but the signature has to be very good +. I would rather do without or keep hunting.
