Do not send autograph requests through these addresses:

Wembley
Earls Court
London Arena
Wimbledon (although I have emailed them about this problem)
Arsenal Football Club
IMG Center

Do you receive an RTS if you send to those venues?

No- by now, Ive probably been waiting over 2 years for a reply of letters costing me 25 pounds.
So why bother sending it again, and again, and again?

I suppose this is a bit late for this years championships, but on the Wimbledon website it says that fanmail is passed on at the player's discretion.

I tried Tim Henman there last year and didn't receive a reply, so perhaps he is one of the people who just doesn't except fanmail. That may not be the case with all of the players though.

Yeah I saw that bit on their site too. But in my case, I wrote to 10 tennis players- hmmm, now I have the feeling that they dont really pass on fanmail.

Btw, barmy_army008, hows about US Open? Are they good in handling fanmail?

I've never tried the US Open, so I don't know. In general (I guess Wimbledon is excluded here!) sports clubs seem to be quite good at passing on fanmail, but thats not to say that the US Open can't be an exception as well. I looked on the FAQ on their website and thats all about tickets so didn't help.

You could give it a go and keep your fingers crossed. BUt if there was a player you wanted in particular then maybe try their agency or something, rather than risking it. Roger Federer seems to be really good via his website so maybe others are too.
